It all started in September of 2008. Two (we like to think) smart, funny women decided to take matters into our own hands and create a place to share ideas and opinions on subjects of the day. Our goals was simple: give everyday women, from different walks of life, a forum in which to vent our spleens, share our opinions and have a few laughs…no pundits, columnists or paid spokespersons allowed. The two of us reached out to the smartest, most opinionated women we know, asking them to participate… and Bitch Pie was born. We don’t for a second claim to be experts and we certainly don’t feel the need to be liked…just heard. We vowed to allow each woman the freedom to write about whatever subject she wanted to discuss at any given moment, with no censoring or editing. As for the name…that’s a secret family recipe.
