I'm a married 46 year old mother of an 18 year old daughter.I work in the kitchen of a nursing home and a small branch library.
Though I have no college education under my belt I came from a household that valued knowledge for it's own sake which has made me a lifelong avid reader - the kind that has 6 dictionaries in the house because you just never know when you'll need them all!
My daughters coming of age has made me much more politically aware.
I want her to step forward into a world that will welcome and support her and one that she will welcome and support in kind.
